Mrs.Silva


Mrs. Silva was born and raised in Danbury, CT and now lives in
Brookfield, CT. She went to St. Gregory the Great School and graduated
from Immaculate High School in 1998. She continued her education at
Western Connecticut State University. Mrs. Silva studied
elementary education with a concentrated in American Studies. During
her college career she worked at Costco as a pharmacy technician.
She graduated from WCSU in 2002 and and in 2006 with a Masters in Reading.
She is now a second grade teacher.

History of Sherman
The
history of Sherman is studied
back to the time of the purchase of
land from
the Indians.They look at
the changes of the schools,
the post
office, the hardware
store and the IGA.
Since our
town is named for Roger
Sherman, information is shared
about his
jobs as a surveyor,
cobbler, and statesman.
