Mrs. Buzzi grew up in the small town of Geneseo, IL. Upon graduation from J.D. Darnall High School in 1994, Mrs. Buzzi attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. Here, Mrs. Buzzi worked to attain a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. When she wasn't studying, Mrs. Buzzi was running through the streets of Illinois and Iowa. She ran both Cross Country and Track for Augustana and stills runs today.

1n 1998, Mrs. Buzzi graduated from Augustana College with a BA in Elementary Educaiton and spent her first year teaching 3rd and 4th grade is a small, private school. While it was extremely interesting juggling two grades at once, Mrs. Buzzi loved her first year of teaching and learned a great deal in the process. After this first year, Mrs. Buzzi moved to California to teach 4th grade at a very large school along the southern border of the state. Mrs. Buzzi taught at Ben Hulse Elementary in Imperial, CA for three years and loved every minute. During this time, she attained a Masters Degree in Education, Curriculum and Technology.

In 2002, Mrs. Buzzi moved to New Fairfield, CT with her husband. Over the summer of 2002, she got a job at Sherman School teaching 5th grade. She absolutely loves teaching at Sherman.
