Let's get up close and personal with Mr. Schoefer.

Mr. Schoefer grew up in the small town of New Fairfield, Connecticut. Upon the completion of high school in 1993, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the Art Institute of Atlanta but returned to Connecticut shortly thereafter for reasons unknown.

In the winter of 1995, Mr. Schoefer began taking classes at Western Connecticut Sate University. Unsure of what he wanted to do with his life, Mr. Schoefer took an education class which then gave him the direction he needed. As time passed, Mr. Schoefer's knowledge of education grew and grew until the Spring of 1999. Here is where he faced his biggest challenge, student teaching. Mr. Schoefer ended up back in his old school in New Fairfield, except this time the tables had turned and now he was the teacher. The weeks passed and he successfully completed his time there. Shortly thereafter, he graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Psychology.

In the neighboring town of Sherman, the school's principal, Mr. Murphy, heard about this talented, young, energetic, handsome teacher by the name of (you guessed it) Mr. Schoefer. In the Fall of 1999, he began teaching 5th grade and continues to do so to this very day.

In the summer of 2000, Mr. Schoefer felt the need to expand his mind and broaden his horizons so he decided to return to school. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in the summer of 2002 with a Masters Degree in Elementary Science. The quest for knowledge has always been an important part of this young man's life and sure enough he ended up back in school again.

One year later Mr. Schoefer began studying Administration in Education at Sacred Heart University.  In the Spring of 2005 he graduated with his Sixth Year Degree in Administration.

Who knows what will await Mr. Schoefer in the future, but whatever challenges present themselves, he is sure to meet them head on.
