Themis Enright
Mrs. Enright's PhotoI am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who started my career as School Social Worker at the Devereux Glenholme School, a residential school in Washington, CT. After three years as the social worker, I worked my way to Clinical Supervisor within the Glenholme School. While sad to leave the Glenholme school, I made a change to the public school system, where I began equally fulfilling work as the School Social Worker at New Fairfield High School. Upon having children, I took time off from school social work to devote my full energy to the real joy of my life.....raising my kids, William and Gwyneth. Once Gwen reached school age, I was lucky enough to secure a wonderful job at Danbury High School as the School Social Worker within the Special Education Department, where I am happy to say, the 2016-2017 school year marks my 10th year working at DHS. I consider motherhood and teaching children in my capacity as school social worker a privilege and am thankful for my good fortune. I am also grateful for my elected position of member of the Sherman Board of Education. I truly thank the community for entrusting me with this role.

My education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Justice and Law Administration from Western Connecticut State University. I received my Masters in Social Work at Southern Connecticut State University, where I completed my practicum and thesis within the Yale Child Study Center in New Haven, CT.

Motherhood, school social work and my volunteer positions keep me busy, but I make time to enjoy running, skiing and most importantly, spending time with my family and close friends.
