Welcome! I have been teaching at The Sherman School since the fall of 2014. I currently teach Health Education to all students in grades K-8. I received my bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Central CT State University in 2009. I received my master’s degree in Special Education from CCSU in 2011. Since that time, I have worked as a substitute teacher, reading and math tutor at the elementary and middle grade levels in various schools in Connecticut until arriving here in Sherman as your part-time health teacher! I currently hold my CT teaching certification in Health for grades PK-12 and for Physical Education also for grades PK-12. I place great value on healthful living and I am honored to share my passion and knowledge for healthy living with the Sherman School community. Additionally, I enjoy reading, running, playing volleyball.
Have a healthy, active and balanced day!
