Susan Ochman860-355-3793 x11Special education and related services are provided to students who are eligible, in pre-school through post high school. At the Sherman School, the majority of children who receive services receive them in the general education setting which, for the majority of children, is the least restrictive environment. The classification "Specific Learning Disabilities" is the most often used classification. When the revised LD Guidelines are released in January, we will already be familiar with Response To Intervention (RTI), and Scientific Research-Based Instruction (SRBI), to address collaboratively the learning styles and achievement of all our students.
