Sherman School is one of the few remaining Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade elementary schools in Connecticut. The town of Sherman is located near the city of Danbury, Connecticut and borders the state of New York. The 381 elementary students are housed in the Sherman School and the high school students may select from a number of area high schools to attend.
The Sherman School has been providing quality education for pre-school through 8th grade students in the Sherman community for over 70 years. The staff is dedicated to providing every child with the best educational opportunity possible. Many special services are available to supplement the regular school program.
Each child is encouraged to develop an attitude of self-respect and self-worth. Opportunities are provided for pupils to form meaningful and responsible relationships. Parents are the school's partners in the important job of educating the children of this community.
