President's Award for Academic Excellence
Grade Point Average:Students are to earn a grade point average of 90 on a 100 point scale for each of the 4 terms in seventh grade and for the first two terms in eighth grade.
Connecticut Mastery Test: Students are to achieve scores of five (5) on two out of the three areas tested. If Connecticut Mastery Tests are not available because a student has transferred from another school, their most recent standardized tests scores are used. Achievement in the 85 percentile or higher is required.
The school principal has final authority to determine which students receive this award.
