The formation of the School Building Committee (SBC) was authorized by taxpayers at a Town Meeting on May 26, 2022. This ten member committee is charged with overseeing repairs and improvements to Sherman School's facility and site, and was appointed by the First Selectmen per the Board of Education's 7000 Series of policies which guide the SBC's operations.

The SBC holds a regular meeting on the second Tuesday of each month. All members of the Sherman community are encouraged to attend. Meetings are typically held in person at the Sherman School library. Notice of such meetings are made on this website and can easily also be found on the school calendar.
